Stressed....

Well, last Thursday was a crazy day for me... We had a meeting at work that informed my team that they have decided to outsource our jobs to India. They don't know yet when our last day will be or when if we get a severance package.. They did tell us that they would keep us on long enough to *train* them... :/ They want to make sure everything goes smoothly so they want us to train.. So Tuesday it started... tons of meetings, emails, and planning... Lets just say it sucks!! I have spent most of this week updating my resume.... Not an easy thing.... And not a good time to be without a job... I have been at my job for 7+ years and will really miss some of the people I work with... it's a stressful time for me.. One door closing another opening..

Interesting Practice....

Case has been doing really good in practice so far. He's had about 4. Well last night he did awesome! He had done good all day but at the end they line up in two line facing each other and the two end guys lay down one at each end. When the coach yells hut they have to roll over and jump up as fast as they can and run at each other. The one running the ball tries to run through to the other side and the other guy tries to tackle him down.. Case was up and he was the one to tackle the guy. Several guys had already gone before him... (Sometimes the guys are afraid of the other guy coming at them and kinda cower down or slow way down) Case ran as fast as he could at his guy and totally head butted him and the other guy just fell totally flat on his back.. Everyone cheered in amazement.. It was really cool..... Case got so many high fives and "that was awesome" he was so excited.

Emmie didn't have such an exciting time.. lol She met another little girl there and they had been running and playing most of the time. They were being really quite and playing babies when Emmie comes Screaming and running up to me like she couldn't even breath. I could tell something had happened. They had found some off and the little girl sprayed it all over Emmie's face... It was in her eyes, nose, mouth.. it was all over her! It was horrible. I got Case's water bottle and started flushing her eyes and every time she screamed even more... It was soooo sad!!! Jett's dad had some eye flush in his truck (thank god) and that helped A TON.... poor girl.. We rinsed her eyes and mouth forever it seemed like.. She was soaking wet by the time we left... When we got home I had her go under water in the bath tub and open her eyes over and over. Then we put more eye drops in her eyes.. It was soooo scary and sad! This morning she seemed ok, but man I was so worried about her little eyes... :(

WOW!

Wow, this summer has flown by... We have been having so much fun! We decided two months ago to get a couple of jetski's, so we've been looking around. A couple of weeks ago we ended up find a good deal on one so we got it. We kept looking for another one maybe alittle bigger and ended up finding the exact same one a year older with a double trailer. So we got that one too... LOL Now we have two that look almost exactly alike and we have been going to the lake everyweekend! We are having a blast and the kids LOVE them. We got a tube and the kids have really liked that too.. Emmie loves the lake and swimming and even likes to get out in the deep part of the lake. This past weekend we went back to Grand Lake. We have also been thinking about getting a lake lot there and looked when we where there for the 4th of July. We looked this past weekend and found a great deal!!! It's looking like by the end of the month we could be property owners of a lake lot in Woodland Shores!! :) We are constantly doing something new.. hehe Case also had the flu.. Who knew the flu was around in July?? Crazy. We all got the tamiflu stuff and took that and thankfully nobody else got it... It's also beginning to look like we may be taking our house off the market and just sit tight for another year. Case has started back to football practice and is doing really good at them and I really don't want to move in the middle of the school year...
